Notes

Organotropism: broncho-pulmonary apparatus, throat, stomach, adrenal glands.

Notes on the plan: The hydroalcoholic solution was carried out with the alchemical spagyric method of Solanimus (TSA) which includes all the phases of classical spagyria with the final addition of a specific phase of alchemical philosophy. Spagyria and alchemy have come together to get the best out of the plant. The TSA GLYCYRRHIZA GLABRA is obtained by macerating the roots of the plant that has reached at least the third or fourth year of age, just harvested in their balsamic time (October-December), in a hydroalcoholic solution. The plant contains triterpene saponosides (glycyrrhizin, up to 6%), flavonoids (isoflavones, licorizine, isoliquirizine), polysaccharides, sterols, coumarins and other substances. Licorice has anti-inflammatory, expectorant, soothing, adrenal gland stimulating, laxative properties. Expectorant endowed with secretolytic and secretomotor action to be used in the treatment of catarrhal forms of the upper airways. The anti-gastric ulcer action, which has licorice, given by glycyrrhizin and the flavonoid substances contained in it, is able, in most cases, to make painful symptoms disappear and to greatly reduce ulcerative lesions (GUTMAN-KANONI, Societé Nat. Franc. de gastroenterologie, 9-3, 1953). Licorice also contributes to the treatment of Addison’s disease, which is due to insufficient hormonal secretion by the adrenal glands.
