BETULA PUBESCENS: contains betuloretinic acid and tannic acid which, together with vitamin C, betulin and flavonoids, activate the action of macrophages,
stimulate the mast cells of the bone marrow and the endothelial reticular system, thus counteracting the tendency for inflammatory processes to become chronic.
RIBES NIGRUM: contains organic acids (
malic, glycolic, oxalic, tartaric), phenolic derivatives, flavonoids, salicylic acid, essential fatty acids (
linoleic, stearic, stearidonic), terpenes, phosphorus, sulfur, essential oils, vitamin C, amino acids (
arginine, alanine…)
which give it its great action as a “cortison-like”, stimulating liver, kidney and splenic function, the stimulation of the adrenal cortex and the consequent release of substances useful in the modulation of inflammatory and immune processes,
especially in the course of allergic phenomena; it also stimulates eosinophilia e reduces erythrocyte sedimentation rate.
ROSEHIPS: contains ascorbic acid, tannic substances, vitamin C, essential oils with stearoptenes, geraniol, ungerol, citronellol, vitamin A, carotenoids, vitamins B1, B2, PP, K, iron, aluminum, flavonoids and organic acids which
make it indispensable in recurrent localized inflammation, where it has a rebalancing action on gamma globulins and a reducing action on alpha 1 and alpha 2 globulins. ROSMARINUS OFFICINALIS:
it contains polyphenols, diterpenes, triterpenes and rosmarinic acid which give it a
great antiseptic and antispasmodic action in respiratory tract diseases and bronchial asthma,
thanks to the stimulation of the endothelial reticulum system, the synthesis of prostanoids and the modulation of the action of the complement.
BETULA VERRUCOSA: contains salicylic glycosides that oxidize in the body to salicylic acid, betulalbin, betulin, heterosides (
betulasside, monotropidoxside) that release methyl salicylate by hydrolysis with
analgesic and inflammatory-modulating properties.
It has an action on the reticulo-endothelial system, stimulating the macrophagic action and that of the Kuppfer cells. JUGLANS REGIA: contains juglone, tannic acid, alpha and beta hydrojuglone, juglandin, tyrosinase, inosite mesoinositol, nicotine, carotene, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, barium, potassium, flavonoids; the alpha-hydroglujone oxidizes in the air, transforming itself into Juglone with great antiseptic and similar antibiotic properties especially at the skin level.
Very active in adenitis tending to suppuration and in catarrhal forms at the level of the mucous membranes (pharynx, urethra, vagina, conjunctiva). Decreases hypergammaglobulinaemia, beta-lipoprotein values and stimulates plasma cell activity, so useful in prostatitis with a tendency to become chronic.
VITIS VINIFERA: contains mono and diglucosides of peonidin, malvidin, delphinidin, petunidin, flavonoid quercitin, malic acid, acetic acid, succinicoglutamine, choline, carotene, tartaric and salicylic acid, calcium phosphorus, magnesium, copper, sodium, Vitamins A, B1, B2 , pp.
By reducing alpha 2 globulins and beta globulins it is highly effective in chronic and relapsing inflammatory states especially at the level of the osteoarticular apparatus. From the plants described above it is possible to obtain
MSA (
Spagyric-Alchemic Macerates)
with extraction ratio 1 to 50 (
R.E. 1/50) if you follow the indications given by
Solanimus in his book “
ALCHEMY and SPAGYRIA: admirabiles et inseparabiles Artes!”, where some practical notions of Spagyria or Spagyrya and Alchemy are described very well.
