The TSA Arctium lappa with its diuretic, diaphoretic and cholagogue properties is particularly indicated as depurative and suitable for drainage, this technique allows the elimination of toxins by the body, through natural excretory (liver, kidneys, intestine, skin, etc.). Thanks to its bacteriostatic power on various bacteria, but especially on staffilococcus aureus, it is used in the treatment of acne, but is also used in furunculosis and pyoderma in general. Its hypoglycaemic action seems to be given by the B vitamins and inulin which would act at the level of glucidic metabolism. For topical use it is used in acne, furunculosis and eczema by virtue of compresses made with a solution in a ratio of 1: 1 (one part of tincture and one of sterile distilled water) morning and evening.
